Aktivitas Antioksidan Tanaman Artocarpus

Antioxidants are compounds that can inhibit or prevent the formation of free radicals, so they are
important for consumption. Artocarpus genus plants are known as plants in the tropics, so it is
necessary to know their antioxidant activity. The investigation of antioxidant activity was carried out
using pubmed, google scholar, and science direct. The results of the investigation of antioxidant activity
in 50 species of Artocarpus showed that 6 species had antioxidant activity, with very strong antioxidant
categories (Artocarpus anisophyllus 34.58 ppm, Artocarpus chaplasa 10 μg/ml, and Artocarpus
heterophyllus 35.57 ppm) and strong antioxidants (Artocarpus altilis 66.243 ppm, Artocarpus lakoocha
55.86 ppm, and Artocarpus communis 54.6 ppm).
